A recent trip into the city fog.
Full moon night and this oak growing out of a rock on a Marin hillside provided endless entertainment for our group of insomniacs.
Near the ferry landing in Alameda there are some unexpected views of SF--this night a heavy fog bank back shadows the city lights in the distance.
From Alameda there is a spectacular view of this steel scrapyard--piles of metal, a smoke plume everpresent and harsh lights create the feel.
Abandoned dairy tunnel at Pt Reyes
Sherry and I spent the evening in Lafayette at the Iraq War Memorial.
There's my boy! Andrew visited two weeks ago. We had a great time--watched the As spank the Giants in a night game and then spent the day in Napa, eating good food and talking about a time, not so far off, when we could go wine tasting together.
